This week was great! Our favourite activity was music; the girls sounded amazing on their recording. Teamwork was something we focused on this week too and our counsellors found as many opportunities as they could to challenge campers to work as a team. Next week, campers are going to be blown away by all of the cool things offered during “Turn-it-up-Thursday”, followed by an amazing Special Day on Friday!

We know that Senior Boys had lots of fun this week because we could see how excited they were to participate in some amazing activities. We’re lucky that our cabins are so close to Landsports because the Senior Boys took part in the action as often as they could – they loved playing “9 Square in the Air! The boys also had the chance to learn how to make kaleidoscopes at nature this week and were excited to share their creations. Next week, campers are going to be blown away by all of the cool things offered during “Turn-it-up-Thursday”, followed by an amazing Special Day on Friday!

Our week was filled with fun and excitement including our end-of-day Talent Show and a mass game of huckle buckle that has made it into Camp Robin Hood history books. At Nature our campers were wowed by learning that they could tell the time using the sun and a few simple items! Next week our optional overnight gives campers a chance to spend even more time at camp. Who wouldn’t want to join the excitement?

The Intergirls had a great first week filled with lots of fun! Some the girls couldn’t stop talking about Dance and Gymnastics because showing off their moves left the other campers in awe. Of course learning unit routines was important so that everyone could feel comfortable in their home-away-from-home! Many of our “Awesomes of the Day” were given out to campers who’ve been courteous and thoughtful. Next week is going to be exciting and our optional overnight will give our campers extra time at camp for fun and excitement!

This week’s been tons of fun! The Junior Girls’ can’t stop talking about the talent show that we have every Tuesday and Thursday morning, a great way to add some excitement to an amazing week filled with too many activities to mention! Our campers are also learning how to keep their cabins clean by keeping their items neatly in their bags and having the bags zipped up. Next Thursday, we have a fantastic Disney themed special day to look forward to! 

It was more than the weather that was heating up this week! The Junior Boys really enjoyed staying cool at swim and canoe this week! While it’s hard to pick one moment that was really exciting this week, our highlight was Camp Dance – this group of campers couldn’t be more excited to learn all of the funky new moves. Next Thursday we can’t wait to travel through time as part of our special day!

This week we loved making music at Kids Music as well as sun dials at nature. We also loved learning our new skills at swimming this week. We can’t wait to “just keep swimming”. Next week, we’re looking forward to visiting all the activities, so come excited!

We had lots of fun this week! Our favourite activity was gymnastics! We got to bounce on trampolines, swing on the rope and trapeze, and even do an obstacle course! We learned so many new cheers this week in our unit – they even heard us cheering all the way over at Sports Academy. We’re looking forward to the 2^nd week of camp! We have some awesome unit extravaganzas planned and we’re going to learn the camp dance together as well.
